Jason Matthews top-notch spy thriller of Russian and American operatives recruiting each other under the watchful eyes of their KGB and CIA bosses. The damaged Russian ballerina of the title was particularly well drawn as the main protagonist.
Very good adaptation of the book. I even believed in Jennifer Lawrence as a prima ballerina. Difficult subject matter was handled better than in most such films.
Excellent collection of short films. All these films were worth watching, but although The Silent Child won, my favorite was Watu Wote/All of Us which showed the crippling effects of religious intolerance and the simple power of people bonding with each other in spite of their different backgrounds and surroundings.

Once again, I watched Dave and enjoyed every minute. Few movies bear repeated viewing, but Dave is one of them. Kevin Kline and Sigourney Weaver got it just right and brought a fun script to life. I will post six stars in the future for movies that deliver their magic…
